Helping Students Develop Spiritual Direction

What is the spiritual journey?

Stories define our lives.  We sing about them, we laugh about them, we tell them to our friends.  We use them to convey what is most important about us.  There is a sense in which for someone to really know us, to truly understand who we are, they have to know our story.  The spiritual journey starts with you.  You have a story.  The various experiences of your life, bad and good, have helped you develop into who you are up to this point.  You are not the same person you were a week ago. That is why it is important to reflect on your own story. Who am I? Why am I here? What is my purpose in this life?  The Navigators invite you to join a group of individuals who are attempting to walk out their stories.  But that is only half of the picture.

God has a story.  He sent His Son to our world to establish relationship with humanity.  What does this look like for us?  Is there a need for spirituality in a modern world?  The Navigators is a group of students meeting to explore these types of questions.  We believe by investigating God's story, the Bible, we can come to understand our place in the plotline of God. We invite you to join us in a weekly small group Bible study, hang out with us on a weekend or join us on a retreat to pursue the question of who is God and what that means for your life.  It promises to be a wild ride, but what's life without a little adventure?

Who are the Navigators?

The Navigators is an interdenominational Christian ministry dedicated to exploring the spiritual life and nurturing a relationship with God.
